Loving Yourself is the Greatest REVOLUTION

Alexandria King, Co-Founder and Executive Director
Coming from a small town in Northern Connecticut, Alex began her undergraduate career at Endicott College in the fall of 2011. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree of Science in May 2015. During her four years at Endicott, Alex was a part of the Endicott College Dance Team, she was an active board member of Endicott College Buddies--a club that fosters lasting friendships between college students and young adults with special needs, and was a member of psychology club. Alex also participated in two Relay for Life events, two Walk to Remember breast cancer walks, and was fortunate enough to go on two Habitat for Humanity Alternative Spring Break trips. In the fall semesters of 2013 and 2014, Alex was blessed with the opportunities to study as well as intern abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
As mentioned in "Our story: a Note from the President", Alex first thought of the idea for FLY her junior year at Endicott by reflecting on her own journey. Her passion, dedication, and help from fellow colleagues, Anna and Holly, helped to make FLY what it is. Every individual deserves the opportunity to love themselves.
After graduation, Alex moved to California to serve a year with the Americorps City Year Sacramento branch. Alex is currently living in the Bay, working on her Masters of Counseling, and getting First Love Yourself, Inc. off the ground.
In the future, Alex looks forward to taking on First Love Yourself, Inc. full-time and working with young people as they embark on a magnificent journey of self-love.
