Christina Nava, Board Member
Christina Nava is a Licensed Marriage, Family and Child Therapist who currently works for Dignity HealthMedical Foundation: Children’s Center South. Before joining Dignity Health in March 2013, Christina served as a Human Services Assistant for the Department of Human Assistance, Sacramento County for over fourteen years. As a Human Services Assistant she provided linkage to underserved populations in obtaining social services, such as the Cal-Works, Cal-Fresh, and Medi-Cal programs.
Christina holds a Master of Science in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts degree in a Special Major with an Emphasis in Art Therapy from California State University, Sacramento. Christina’s values are rooted in education and community enhancement. In addition, Christina is a public speaker on topics of Cultural Competence when working with Latinos.
In her time outside of work, Christina enjoys spending time outdoors, using her creativity, and expanding her learning.
